The SIIA CODiE Awards are getting closer, which makes for exciting times here at Cohesity! Adding to the suspense, Cohesity DataPlatform was named as a finalist in TWO (yes, two!) categories: Best Software Defined Infrastructure and Best Storage & Back Up Solution.
For a little background, the prestigious SIIA CODiE Awards are based on peer recognition and have been going on for about thirty years. Judges hail from a variety of business-leader corners, including senior executives, analysts, media, consultants, and investors.
The awards themselves center on the software and information industries, comprising 91 education-technology and business-technology categories.
Cohesity DataPlatform was honored twice among 167 finalists for:
1) Best Software Defined Infrastructure
“Recognizes the best technical computing infrastructure entirely under the control of software with no operator or human intervention.”
2) Best Storage & Back Up Solution
“Recognizes the best solution for storing and/or backing up data. Includes block storage, file storage, backup, archive, disaster recovery, and encryption.”
The Winner Announcement event is still a few weeks away, taking place on June 12 at the SIIA Annual Conference & CODiE awards. In the meantime, we’ll be counting down the days with Cohesians collectively crossing our fingers and holding very high hopes!
