Head of IT Products & Services, JSR Corporation
Ryan joined OneDigital at JSR as the global Head of IT Products and Services in July 2022. In this role leading the IT vertical for OneDigital providing IT Services to JSR companies worldwide include JSR Micro, JSR Life Sciences, KBI, MBLI, Crown Biosciences as well as other JSR subsidiaries. He is based in Denver, Colorado.
Ryan was most recently at leading IT at KBI Biopharma, a JSR subsidiary, responsible for all aspects of IT, CSV and support. He lead a multi-national team of professionals across the full range of the technology stack. These include cloud, infrastructure and data center operations, networking, security, systems architecture, PMO, application development, automation, test, computer systems validation, Service Desk, IT controls, governance, risk and compliance. While at KBI he defined a multi-year technology strategy to enable KBI to achieve it’s financial and compliance targets.
Prior to KBI, Ryan worked in Financial Services at Charles Schwab where he spent time as the technology leader for the equity compensation business as well as a software architect modernizing client communications. In his equity compensation role he lead his team in creating and executing a 5 year technology strategy, full stack development, and operations support. His team executed on the strategy through development using micro-services and micro-UIs in a hybrid cloud leveraging relational and non-relational databases in a highly distributed and highly available environment. Ryan also lead his team in adopting best in-class processes around planning, software development, quality, CI/CD, release engineering, and production support. Finally, Ryan continued to focus on team development by leading workshops for personal development based on the “Career Strategy Framework”.
Prior to Schwab Ryan was with Microsoft Corp. in Denver as well as in Redmond, WA, for 5 years. During his tenure there, he held multiple roles including Program Manager, Enterprise Architect and Regional IT Manager. In these roles he primarily focused on creating a roadmap focused on modernization and migration to the cloud for Microsoft IT leveraging hybrid ITIL/TOGAF model.
Before joining Microsoft, Ryan was an IT Director for Sandoz, a subsidiary of Novartis A.G.., where he ran IT for Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality/Lab, and Research teams in the US at multiple sites.
Ryan has a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Colorado College and holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Colorado.
