As a former NSA Executive and DOD CIO/CISO, Marianne brings over 35 years of experience across the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence community, and civil government sectors.

Marianne served as Deputy National Manager for National Security Systems (NSS) and Senior Cybersecurity Executive for the National Security Agency where she was directly responsible for systems across the government containing classified and/or sensitive information. She also served as both Principal Deputy for Cybersecurity and Deputy Chief Information Security Officer (DCISO), Department of Defense, CIO. She received the Distinguished Executive Presidential Rank Award, the highest government civilian recognition, for her contributions to national security. Marianne Bailey currently leads Guidehouse’s Advanced Solutions Cybersecurity practice. Ms. Bailey earned a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Master’s degree from Industrial College of the Armed Forces, National Defense University.

Jason Chan has spent over twenty years in cybersecurity and is especially passionate about large-scale systems, cloud security, and improving security in modern software development practices.

Most recently, Jason built and led the information security team at Netflix for over a decade before retiring in July 2021. His team at Netflix was known for its contributions to the security community, including over 30 open-source security releases and dozens of conference presentations. He also previously led the security team at VMware and spent most of his earlier career in security consulting. Since retiring from Netflix, Jason has been advising a variety of companies on security products and strategy and is also an Operating Advisor at Bessemer Venture Partners.

Jason enjoys coaching, mentoring, and helping folks from underrepresented groups enter and advance in the cybersecurity industry. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, running ultramarathons, and volunteering in habitat restoration, trail maintenance, and wildfire management. He received a BS from the College of Charleston and his MS from Boston University.

Josh Linkner is a Creative Troublemaker.

He has been the founder and CEO of five tech companies, which sold for a combined value of over $200 million. He’s an internationally recognized expert on innovation and is the author of four books on the subject including the New York Times Bestsellers, Disciplined Dreaming and The Road to Reinvention.

Josh is passionate about starting and building companies. He’s the co-founder and managing Partner of Muditā Venture Partners - an early-stage venture capital firm - and was previously the CEO and founding partner of Detroit Venture Partners. Over the last 30 years, he's helped over 100 startups launch and scale.

Today, Josh serves as Chairman and co-founder of Platypus Labs, an innovation research, training, and consulting firm. He has twice been named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year and is a recipient of the United States Presidential Champion of Change Award.

Josh is also a passionate Detroiter, the father of four, a professional-level jazz guitarist, and has a slightly odd obsession for greasy pizza.

Known for his ability to communicate both technically and conceptually, Dale “Dr. Z” Zabriskie has consulted with IT professionals across the globe, advising on implementing effective cyber security strategies. He is a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and certified in Cloud Security Knowledge (CCSK).

In his 20-year cybersecurity career, Dr. Z has advised major healthcare, public sector, finance, retail, entertainment, and manufacturing organizations in over fifty countries. He has also been a popular moderator and participant in numerous industry panels. His expertise is supported by career experience in information technology, regulatory compliance, research and development, marketing, and sales.

Before joining Cohesity, Dr. Z served as the Global Evangelist for Symantec for over 16 years. Prior companies include Proofpoint, Veritas, SunGard, and IBM.

Brian brings 20 years of experience managing IT and cybersecurity organizations within high-growth companies, while also providing consulting services for large, globally dispersed blue-chip enterprises. His leadership is pivotal in advancing core business operations, accelerating digital transformations, and building cybersecurity protocols that secure company, customer, and employee data. Prior to Cohesity, Brian managed Risk and Information Protection at Splunk, leading and rapidly expanding the organization responsible for managing cyber risk across the company. Brian’s prior roles also include leading the digital transformation of core business functions for McKesson and Grainger. Brian holds a BA in Economics from the University of Colorado.

Ross leads corporate communications globally for Cohesity, including public and analyst relations, internal communications, and customer marketing. Ross began his career as a television reporter/anchor covering technology, politics, education, and a host of other topics. He has spent the last 20+ years helping organizations raise awareness among key audience segments, influencers, and employees.
