The company was struggling with its existing IT infrastructure and it was difficult to keep up with the rapid growth of the company. Carthago was looking for a comprehensive solution for modernizing and consolidating its IT infrastructure to provide better support for business processes.
In order to modernize the entire infrastructure, Carthago decided to replace servers, storage, and backup to virtual solutions in one step. For server virtualization, Carthago used the hyperconverged infrastructure from Nutanix, and chose Cohesity for highly scalable backup and recovery.
The new virtualized infrastructure based on Nutanix and Cohesity has reduced administration costs by 30 percent. Data backup is now significantly faster and at shorter intervals.
