Certifications provide proof of knowledge and expertise in different roles of data management. Certifications are recognized around the world. Designed for technical professionals, certification exams are professionally administered and proctored by a third-party organization.

Protection Professional badge is achieved for successfully earning the three certifications: Protection Associate – DataProtect, Protection Associate – Multicloud, and Implementation Professional – SmartFiles.
Certifications cover products and topics including: Data Protection, SmartFiles, Data Security, NetBackup, NetBackup Appliances, Multicloud solutions, and more.
Certifications are delivered and proctored through a third-party organization. You may schedule an exam here.
Cohesity does not require coursework prior to taking an exam but recommends six (6) to nine (9) months on-the-job experience. To supplement skills, Cohesity provides optional training courses, a study guide and sample questions to help individuals prepare for each certification exam.
Cohesity certification expires two (2) years from the date of passing the exam.
Preliminary results are provided immediately after the exam.
Yes, individuals may retake any exam after 14 days.
