Cohesity Academy is a unified training, accreditation, and certification program for sales and technical professionals and offered to Cohesity partners and customers. Expertly designed coursework and training materials provide a foundation for you to gain the most out of your Cohesity solutions. Combine your knowledge and skills with real-world experience to achieve valuable accreditations and globally recognized industry certifications.

Cohesity Academy delivers award winning, world-class resources and best practices for adopting Cohesity solutions. With Cohesity Academy, you and your team can:

Learn It

• Training courses for partners and customers– Learn everything you need to know about AI-powered data security and management with Cohesity software throughout our courses and learning plans.

Prove It

• Partner Accreditations– Demonstrate to customers that you’re able to advise them on how to move their businesses forward with a data security and management solution.
• Certifications for partners and customers– Once you’ve learned and gained experience, prove it by passing new Cohesity data security and management certification exams that are third-party, professionally administered, and proctored. Certifications provide proof of your knowledge and expertise in different areas of data management.

Metadata is built into the badges, providing important information about your skills and achievements—a valuable tool to enhance your career and personal brand. For optimal flexibility, Cohesity Academy features multiple delivery methods for you to choose. Select the method that suits you and your organization’s needs and learning style best.

• Free Self-Paced eCourses: Start your data security and management learning journey anytime, anywhere. Complete multimedia learning modules to maximize your Cohesity investment.
• Self-Paced eCourses with Labs: Gain access to a set of hands-on, real world lab activities to inspire improved clarity and understanding of Cohesity’s data management solutions. These labs come with guided, step-by-step activities on administering, configuring, and managing Cohesity products.
• Instructor-Led Training: Engage with our experts and your peers in other industries during interactive, virtual learning sessions. Optimize your use of Cohesity and improve your data management strategies with hands-on labs and practical exercises.
• Dedicated Team Training: Maximize your enterprise’s investment by choosing private, dedicated sessions. Focus on the skills, labs, and knowledge your organization needs to succeed in data security and management with Cohesity. This private, hands-on training is delivered virtually or at your chosen location, dedicated to your team.

Certifications are for Cohesity partners and customers. The certification exams are professionally administered and proctored by a third-party organization. Certifications provide proof of your knowledge and expertise in different roles of data management. Certifications are recognized around the globe.

Protection Professional badge is achieved for successfully earning the three certifications: Protection Associate – DataProtect, Protection Associate – Multicloud, and Implementation Professional – SmartFiles.

Digital badges are a way for you to instantly showcase your achievements and gain credibility with your customers, prospects, leadership, and peers. Metadata is built into the badges, providing important information about your skills and achievements—a valuable tool to enhance your career and your personal brand. They are easy to share on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and blogs.

Our badges incorporate analytics to show a progression path and advancing knowledge and skills of data management, providing insight to others into how our program and learner is performing.

We’ve partnered with Credly, a widely used registry third-party organization, to provide you with a digital version of your credentials. You will receive an email from Credly with your certification badge within 10 days of passing an exam.

If you are looking to take Free Self-Paced eCourses, or you have purchased Self-Paced eCourses with Labs or Instructor-Led Training (ILT): 

1. First create a MyCohesity account here.  This is where you can enroll and track progress. 
2. Find and launch the Academy tile. 
3. Browse the home page or course catalog. 

For ILT enrollment, you can select the session day and time that best suits you. There are many options to choose from in every GEO. Each course enrollment request is reviewed for approval based on credit available, which could take up to 2 business days. 

With a MyCohesity account activated, using the same email, you simply visit Cohesity Academy on the Partner Portal for available learning opportunities.

Customers who have not purchased training can reach out to their Cohesity sales team or contact academy@cohesity.com for more information. 

To find your transcript, click on the User Menu (hamburger icon in the top left corner) and scroll down to My Activities. Click on Courses or Learning Plans to see your training completions and status of courses subscribed to.

There are two options.

1. Go to My Courses and Learning Plans and click on the course title of a completed course. Click on the Download Your Certificate button in the upper right corner or
2. For a list of all certificates, click on the User Menu (hamburger icon in the top left corner) and scroll down to My Activities. Click on Courses or Learning Plans to see your training completions. You will see an award icon to the far right of the course title. Click on the award icon to Download a Copy of your Certificate.

Please email support@cohesity.com and include first name, last name with the email addresses you are changing from and to. This will create a ticket for a team member to help assist.

Hands-on lab access will be available for learners for 6 months, starting from the first day of the course.

Purchased courses will expire in one year.

For an optimal learning experience and to provide the best instructional support we have set the maximum class size to 12.

We can coordinate your private training for up to 12 employees from your company and work together on suitable days and times. Please follow these steps: 

1. Fill out the Cohesity Academy Training Booking Form to request coordination for a preferred day and time for your group. It is optimal to arrange the course(s) just prior to installation of the solution, so that your teams are educated just in time to ramp. 
2. Cohesity Academy and your account team will work together on arranging and confirming the session. 
3. We also suggest your team creates a MyCohesity account here where you can view Free Self-Paced eCourses, track your progress, and view other Education opportunities. 

Cohesity Certifications cost $200 each.
