Strengthen your resilience posture with portfolio-wide features and updates supporting our five-step cyber resilience model.
Cohesity was founded to help you easily and cost-effectively manage all your data—from a single platform—so you can protect, secure, and derive insights from it. The Cohesity Data Cloud not only helps secure your data for a confident recovery, but it also unlocks your unstructured enterprise data for Gen AI.
Today at Cohesity Catalyst 1, we're announcing over 40 innovative updates to help you along your cyber resilience journey. Our five-step cyber resilience model provides actionable guidance for strengthening your resilience posture. Let’s examine how updates across all five steps can help improve your cyber resilience.
1. Protect all data: Identify all unprotected workloads and protect them. We already protect over 1,000 workloads, and with rapidly accelerating data growth in the cloud—there’s more to come.
2. Ensure data is always recoverable: The key to this step is based on the best practices of the “3-2-1 rule” for data protection. Having at least three copies of your data on two different types of media, with one copy stored off-site, strengthens the ability to recover data, regardless of the circumstances.
In 2022, we introduced our cloud-based cyber vault, Cohesity FortKnox, to help organizations maintain the best practices of the 3-2-1 rule while meeting the RTOs of modern business. We recently released a self-managed option for FortKnox to address the strict needs of some of our regulated and most security-sensitive customers. With a self-managed version of FortKnox, customers can enjoy benefits like:
3. Detect and investigate threats: In this step, you proactively monitor your backups for anomalies and malware and reactively investigate indicators of compromise on your backups as part of the recovery process.
4. Practice application resilience: If you want to get better at something, you better practice. The same is true with cyber resilience. And that is what Step 4 is all about. Our cyber recovery orchestration tool, Cohesity RecoveryAgent is generally available.
RecoveryAgent is a powerful solution designed to simplify and accelerate disaster and cyber recovery operations. It uses agentic AI to enable organizations to create automated recovery blueprints that streamline workflows, reduce the risk of data loss, and ensure business continuity. With RecoveryAgent, teams can rapidly build, validate, and execute recovery plans—proactively addressing threats, minimizing downtime, and demonstrating compliance.
We’re also announcing a game-changing solution in partnership with Semperis—a leader in identity security. Together, we’re delivering Cohesity Identity Resilience, powered by Semperis—a solution that enables enterprises to protect and recover Active Directory, reducing downtime up to 90%. With Cohesity’s immutable, secure backups and Semperis’ automated Active Directory Forest Recovery, organizations can prevent attacks with proactive assessment and hardening, restore AD to a clean, malware-free state with full post-breach forensics, and expand cyber resilience to one of the most vulnerable parts of their attack surface.
And we’re not stopping there. Now, you can opt into our new proactive consulting offering to help you assess your resilience posture and close backup security gaps—before attackers can exploit them. Through targeted assessments, our Cyber Resilience Consulting Services can help you benchmark your current maturity and develop a pragmatic, actionable roadmap covering the people, processes, and technology aspects.
5. Optimize data risk posture: In Step 5, you’re proactively looking at sensitive data across your estate to detect and mitigate risks. That’s where integrations with data security posture management (DSPM) vendors come into focus. Today we’re announcing expanded product ties with Cyera, the market leader in DSPM. With this integration, you can:
Cohesity and Cyera are making a major step forward, together, in eliminating enterprise blind spots to reduce risk from data theft and enabling you to face cyber incidents with confidence.
The same platform that delivers cyber resilience, Cohesity Data Cloud, also brings backups, cloud data, and application data into a single, indexed source of truth for extracting business value.
Cohesity Gaia, our conversational generative AI assistant, uses retrieval augmented generation (RAG) to unlock deeper insights from your data. And here we are also excited to announce new innovations, coming soon, to make Gaia more powerful, more useful, and more secure.
It’s important to know that the journey to cyber resilience doesn’t end and the journey toward AI is just beginning. At Cohesity, our mission is to protect, secure, and provide insights into the world’s data. The new innovations are a testament to our commitment to delivering on that mission.
In the coming weeks, we’ll continue to double-click into the innovations announced today at Catalyst 1. In the meantime, register here to watch the event.
