While CrowdStrike has provided non-destructive remediation steps, if you need to restore your affected Windows machines at scale to the last known good state in a matter of minutes, use Cohesity’s recovery capabilities, such as Instant Mass Restore (IMR).
  Use Cohesity to recover your Windows machine irrespective of where it runs:
  • Physical infrastructure (bare machine)
  • Virtual infrastructure (VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, etc)
  • Cloud infrastructure (VMware Cloud, Azure VMs, VE, etc)

  In addition, if customers are unsure if some machines are impacted, you can use the Cohesity granular search to find the blast radius of the impact in your organization. This will be a master list of impacted machines. You can also automate the operation with your existing tools using Cohesity REST APIs or use Cohesity scripts.
  Joint Cohesity and CrowdStrike customers will receive a field notice with recovery steps for your convenience.

• Customer support: Cohesity customers can contact support if any assistance is needed. We understand you may be short-staffed to perform this large amount of change management in such a short period of time.
