MyCohesity FAQs

MyCohesity is our secure, single sign-on (SSO) portal that provides fast and easy access to all your Cohesity resources.  Watch the welcome video.

Go to the  MyCohesity page. If you have an existing account using a business email address, please enter your credentials to log in. If you are creating a new account, please select  Sign-up and submit that form to set up your new account. Please note, personal emails (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) will no longer be accepted. For additional help, refer to the  Creating a new CohesityID article.

If your account has not been migrated to CohesityID, you can reset your password from the  MyCohesity page. Select “Forgot Password” and you will be guided through the password reset process.

If they have not received the welcome letter and want to access MyCohesity, they can use the  Sign-up option to self-register using their business email id. 

Through your MyCohesity portal, you can access Helios, NextGen Support Portal, Partner Portal, Product Documentation, NetInsights Console, NetBackup Licensing, Cohesity Academy, and Admin Console based on your unique permissions.

All tools such as Licensing and Entitlement Management , Support portal; Product Documentation; NetInsights Console; and Downloads Portal have been moved to MyCohesity. Your existing access and logins will be merged into a single unified account; therefore, you will only have one login credential to remember.

To get assistance, click  Need Help? on the MyCohesity landing page. For additional account access, you can submit a case via the Admin Console.

As part of platform modernization, the Veritas Entitlement Management System (VEMS) has been deprecated for NetBackup products. Effective April 13, NetBackup products are accessible only through MyCohesity. 

To access your NetBackup entitlements: 

  1. Log in at  https://my.cohesity.com.

  2. Click the “NetBackup Licensing” tile.

All active partners can access the Partner Portal by visiting  partners.cohesity.com. Log into the Partner Portal using your MyCohesity login.

If you don’t have a MyCohesity login, please create a MyCohesity account. Go to  partners.cohesity.com and click "Sign-Up for MyCohesity." Make sure to use your company email address and not an alias.

CohesityID FAQs 

CohesityID is Cohesity's new Auth0-powered identity platform for accessing all Cohesity resources. CohesityID delivers enhanced security and a consistent login experience across all Cohesity resources.

When your account is migrated to CohesityID, you will receive an email to notify you that the migration is complete and the next steps you need to take. See the  CohesityID setup for Migrated User guide for instructions on what you need to do to complete the setup.

Sometimes emails can get caught by spam filters. You should add activation@cohesity.com to your address book to ensure our emails are not treated as spam.

If you did not receive the email to setup your CohesityID, you can still complete the setup by selecting Forgot Password on the sign-in page. Refer to this  KB Article for a step-by-step guide to complete the setup.

Still having problems getting the email, reach out to our  support team.

You can reset your password from the  MyCohesity page. Enter your CohesityID and click Login. Then select “Forgot Password” and you will be guided through the password reset process.

If you see the error message “Your account has been blocked after multiple consecutive login attempts”, your account is temporarily locked due to too many incorrect sign-in attempts. To restore access, select Forgot Password on the sign-in page to reset your password. Refer to this  KB Article for a step-by-step guide.

The verification code is valid for 30 minutes. If the code has expired, simply request another code from the verification code screen.

The MyCohesity Multifactor Authentication feature for the login process is now available. Cohesity strongly recommends you enable the feature to keep your credentials, information, and Cohesity web properties secure.
