Industry-Recognized CFO and VP of Engineering Join Hyperconverged Secondary Storage Pioneer
Santa Clara, Calif. – Sept. 6, 2017 – Cohesity, the pioneer of hyperconverged secondary storage, announced today that Seamus Hennessy has joined the company as its new CFO and Vineet Abraham as its new VP of Engineering. These two strategic hires round out the leadership team with a strong bench of industry experience to help take the company to the next level.
Seamus is a recognized industry leader with more than 20 years of financial management experience in both public and private technology companies. His career includes eight years as CFO at the wireless network infrastructure category leader Ruckus Wireless, where he led that company through a successful IPO in 2012 and sale to Brocade Communications Systems in 2016. In addition, he served as CFO at Aerohive Networks, CFO at Bubble Motion and VP of Finance at NetScaler. His breadth of experience includes strategic planning, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, corporate finance, and treasury. Seamus holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from the University of Limerick, Ireland.
Vineet is a highly regarded technical leader, with over 15 years of experience building distributed systems. Prior to Cohesity, Vineet was Senior Vice President of Engineering at Riverbed, where he was responsible for strategy and execution for Riverbed’s core products. He built a global engineering team and helped pivot the company into new market segments. Before that, he held various leadership roles at Brocade, where he helped build and launch several data-center networking products.
