Cohesity Appoints Toshiaki Ito as President and Representative Director for Cohesity Japan

Tokyo, Japan – December 9, 2021 – Cohesity, a leader in next-gen data management, today announced the appointment of Toshiaki Ito as President and Representative Director for Cohesity Japan. He brings more than 20 years of relevant experience working for companies in the security, technology, and communications industries.

Toshiaki has a strong track record in business development, go-to-market, sales operations, strategic alliances, and partner management. He will leverage his experience to empower more customers and partners to embrace Cohesity’s next-gen data management solutions. Today, thousands of customers around the world rely on Cohesity to help them easily protect, manage, secure, and derive value from data – across the data center, edge, and cloud.

Prior to joining Cohesity, Toshiaki was the Japan Country Manager at Vdoo, an Israeli-based IoT security company. He was pivotal in expanding the company’s presence in Japan while working closely with strategic alliances and partners. Before his tenure at Vdoo, Toshiaki held several senior in-market sales roles at Carbon Black, FireEye, and Verizon, where he helped achieve fast growth and extensive gains in market share.
