The partnership gives more customers access to a scale-out solution that unifies secondary storage workloads through a single HPE purchase order. The joint offering leverages HPE Proliant servers and networking to consolidate all secondary storage workflows – from data protection to test/dev to analytics – on Cohesity’s radically efficient, web-scale platform.

“Cohesity’s hyperconverged secondary storage solution is architected for HPE’s storage portfolio,” said HPE Senior Director, Storage and Partner Ecosystems Engineering, Marty Lans. “This partnership is a tremendous opportunity for delivering additional value to our customer base, which are looking for ways to manage increasing data volumes and storage complexity both on-premises and in the cloud.”

The pre-validated solution is being offered through the entire HPE channel and enterprise sales force, which is focused on delivering innovative offerings that drive value for leading businesses. The HPE Complete program focuses on best-in-class technologies and products that complement HPE servers and storage, backed by the reliability of HPE’s interoperability assurance. In addition, HPE joined Cohesity’s recent $90 million Series C funding round as a strategic investor through the Hewlett Packard Pathfinder program, designed to fund ventures with the greatest potential and include their products into HPE enterprise solutions.

“By partnering with HPE – a proven, enterprise-class leader – Cohesity can help more companies across the world to access the benefits of hyperconverged secondary storage,” said Cohesity Head of Marketing and Product Patrick Rogers. “We are excited to work with a well-known industry titan to expand our global reach so quickly and easily.”

The joint solution form Cohesity and HPE will be on display at the HPE Discover 2017 conference in Las Vegas, June 5-8. In addition, Cohesity CEO and Founder Mohit Aron will be a featured speaker at HPE’s CIO Summit, which is taking place at the conference from June 5-6.
