San Jose, Calif. – December 11, 2020 – Cohesity today announced it has won the “Partner Program of the Year” award from Channel Partner Insight (CPI) at the Channel Partner Insight Innovation Awards 2020. These annual awards are independently judged and recognize the companies that are powering the U.S. IT channel.

In honoring Cohesity for Partner Program of the Year, CPI considered the company’s results throughout 2020, including a 70 percent jump in the number of global accounts and a nearly 60 percent increase in the number of net-new accounts versus 2019.

“The Cohesity Partner Program is being honored because they have demonstrated a rare combination of program innovation, rapid momentum and adoption, and exceptional partner relationships,” said Josh Budd, editor, Channel Partner Insight. “Cohesity is playing a key role in helping partners increase their bottom line and deliver more value to their customers through modern data management offerings and a channel-first approach that is best-in-class.”

Cohesity prides itself on being 100 percent partner-focused and its program continues to gain significant traction in the market. The company’s mission is to radically simplify how organizations manage their data and unlock its limitless value via a platform that hosts the widest array of enterprise-class services including backup and recovery, file shares, object stores, disaster recovery, dev/test provisioning, and analytics. Partners have the ability to grow their business by starting customers with one solution and expanding to others, creating an ongoing revenue stream and adding continuous value while meeting their customers’ evolving business needs.

The Cohesity Partner Program
Cohesity understands that no two partners are alike. At every level, the Cohesity Partner Program is focused on helping partners build profitability while delivering value to our mutual customers. Cohesity’s program is also focused on simplicity and transparency. The program is divided into three tiers that provide clear direction to partners on how they can grow their business with Cohesity. The tiered program also makes it a snap for Cohesity customers to identify knowledgeable and experienced channel partners that have a proven record of success. Additionally, Cohesity offers generous bonuses for bringing in new customers and access to valuable benefits such as enablement, sales tools, and marketing resources which are designed to meet the needs of this diverse range of partners.

Cohesity recently announced Data Management as a Service (DMaaS), which gives partners the ability to provide customers with a comprehensive set of data management offerings in a SaaS model. This SaaS-based solution also gives customers more choice in how they can easily manage and derive value from their data. Partners can add this solution to their portfolio and continue to drive relevancy with midsize and enterprise organizations, many of which are looking for innovative data management solutions that are flexible, available, scalable, and reliable.

“Every few years, we come across a partner that truly differentiates from a product portfolio perspective, but the real market disruptors also differentiate from a channel program and posture perspective.  Cohesity is committed to the channel with the people that they hire, the way they structure their programs, how closely they listen to their partners, and their dedication to continued innovation to keep clients and partners engaged,” said Sandy Salty, chief marketing officer, Trace3  “It’s no surprise that the industry, at large, is noticing their strength with the channel and recognizing them for it.”

“Being recognized by CPI for Partner Program of the Year is an honor. It not only continues to validate our commitment to the channel, but also our commitment to delivering a world-class partner program that fuels our partners’ success,” said Michael Houghton, vice president, worldwide channel sales, Cohesity. “Having come from a partner organization, I know how important it is to work with a company that invests in your success and keeps delivering new offerings and opportunities to grow your business with your customers.”

About Cohesity

Cohesity ushers in a new era in data management that solves a critical challenge facing businesses today: mass data fragmentation. The vast majority of enterprise data — backups, archives, file shares, object stores, and data used for dev/test and analytics — sits in fragmented infrastructure silos that make it hard to protect, expensive to manage, and difficult to analyze. Cohesity consolidates silos onto one web-scale platform, spanning on-premises, cloud, and the edge, and uniquely empowers organizations to run apps on that platform — making it easier than ever to back up and extract insights from data. Cohesity is a 2019 CNBC Disruptor and was named a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum. Visit our website and blog, follow us on Twitter and LinkedIn and like us on Facebook.
