Instructor Led Training (ILT)
Provides students with an opportunity to engage with our expert instructors and their peers. Sessions include hands-on labs and exercises with six months of post-training lab access to help solidify data management and security knowledge. Courses are delivered through regularly scheduled virtual classes in multiple time zones and languages.
Dedicated Team Training
Private dedicated group training offers hands-on labs and exercises, with demos and activities tailored specifically to the customer's environment. Includes six months of post-training lab access to help solidify data management and security knowledge. Delivered through virtual sessions, at customer site, or at corporate offices.
Self-Paced eCourses with Labs
Online, lab-centric training with six months of access to a modular lab environment, activities, and guides. Students follow step-by-step activities to administer, configure, and manage Cohesity products. This training format is for NetBackup courses only.
Free Self-Paced eCourses
Complimentary for all Cohesity customers, free online self-directed courses provide flexible and on-demand access, available 24/7. Every Cohesity Academy learning journey begins with the two-hour Cohesity Platform Foundations eCourse.
How is Instructor-Led Training (ILT) purchased
Organizations purchase single training “days” per individual student. For example, to enroll one student in the 2-day Cohesity Data Protection Operations course, you would purchase 2 days of instructor-led training. To purchase ILT, reach out to your Cohesity sales team or contact academy@cohesity.com for more information.
How is Dedicated Team Training purchased
Organizations purchase between 1 to 5 days of private group training for your team. Virtual training is available between 1 to 5 days, while onsite training is available between 2 to 5 days. To purchase Dedicated Team Training, reach out to your Cohesity sales team or contact academy@cohesity.com for more information.
How are Self-Paced eCourses with Labs purchased Organizations purchase individual lab access. Each purchase gives one student access to one course. To purchase Self-Paced eCourses with Labs, reach out to your Cohesity sales team or contact academy@cohesity.com for more information.
Training expires one year after purchase.

Hands-on lab access will be available for learners for 6 months, starting from the first day of the course.
Once training has been purchased, create a MyCohesity account here. Be sure to use your company email. After the account is set up, access the Cohesity Academy Portal to enroll in courses and track training progress. Within the portal, students can browse available training sessions, select preferred session dates, and submit enrollment requests. Enrollment requests are reviewed within 1-2 business days. An enrollment confirmation email will be sent.

With a MyCohesity account activated, using the same email, you simply visit Cohesity Academy on the Partner Portal for available learning opportunities.
To get started, simply fill out the Cohesity Academy Training Booking Form to request your preferred dates and times. For the best experience, we recommend scheduling training just before solution installation, so your team is ready to hit the ground running from day one. Once submitted, Cohesity Academy and your account team will work together to confirm and coordinate all the details.
For an optimal learning experience and to provide the best instructional support we have set the maximum class size to 12.
Certifications are for Cohesity customers and partners. The certification exams are professionally administered and proctored by a third-party organization. Certifications provide proof of your knowledge and expertise in different roles of data management. Our certifications are recognized around the globe. Click here for more information.
Digital badges are earned upon training completion or passing a Certification exam. Badges instantly let you showcase your achievements. We've partnered with Credly to deliver a digital version of your credentials, and you'll receive your badge by email within 10 days of passing an exam or taking Instructor-Led Training. Badges are easy to share across social media and include analytics that highlight your progression and growing expertise in data management, giving others visibility into your skills and accomplishments.
In some regions, Instructor-Led Training is available to purchase as a Training Access Pass, a bundle of 12 days for one organization to use flexibly. Days may be distributed among multiple team members. For example, two employees attending six days each will utilize the full 12-day allocation. With the Training Access Pass, students may opt to use their days as Self-Paced eCourses with Labs if they prefer a self-guided learning format.

To find your transcript, click on the User Menu (hamburger icon in the top left corner) and scroll down to My Activities. Click on Courses or Learning Plans to see your training completions and status of courses subscribed to.
