Competency highlights our commitment to helping public sector customers increase cyber resilience, meet mandates, and reduce costs.
Today, we are excited to announce that Cohesity has been awarded the AWS Government Competency. This makes it easier for federal, state, local governments, and education agencies to work with Cohesity to strengthen their cyber resilience. With this competency, Cohesity joins an elite few ISV partners who have undergone rigorous inspection and have been vetted by AWS to provide data protection and security services on AWS GovCloud. “As the Federal market leader, this designation validates our ability to deliver secure, scalable, and compliant data security solutions tailored to the unique needs of the U.S. government," said Kevin Youngquist, vice president, U.S. Federal Sales, Cohesity. This competency highlights our continued commitment and expertise in service to our public sector customers. In 2024, we earned the “Authorized” status for both FedRAMP® and GovRAMP (formerly known as StateRAMP).
The AWS Government Competency is a valuable designation that helps government customers identify and engage with AWS Partners who have demonstrated deep expertise in supporting mission-critical workloads in highly regulated environments. AWS Government Competency Partners have passed rigorous technical validation to ensure they are following AWS best practices. They have also demonstrated experience in delivering quality solutions to help agencies meet mandates, reduce costs, drive efficiencies, and increase innovation across civilian agencies, national defense and intelligence communities, and state and local governments. Here's how Cohesity’s AWS Government Competency helps government agencies:
