VMware Executive Brings Deep Expertise in Sales and Channel Execution to Hyperconverged Secondary Storage Leader
Santa Clara, CA. – July 12, 2016 Cohesity, the pioneer of hyperconverged secondary storage, today announced the appointment of Frank Rauch as an advisor to the company. With over twenty years of experience in both direct sales and channel programs, Rauch will advise Cohesity’s sales and channel teams on go-to- market strategies and field operations. He currently serves as Vice President, Americas Partner Organization at VMware, a Cohesity partner.

As the leader of VMware’s channel sales in the Americas, Rauch leads initiatives in the company’s channel coverage and expands the solution mix for VMware’s channel partners, which includes solution providers, select system integrators, outsourcers, select service providers, cloud aggregators, OEMs, and distribution partners. Prior to his role at VMware, Rauch served as vice president of enterprise channel sales in the Americas at HP, overseeing a multi-billion dollar enterprise channel. He has also held roles in direct sales at HP and began his career at Compaq. His work in the channel has received critical acclaim and Rauch was most recently named to CRN's list of 2016 50 Most Influential Channel Chiefs, plus over 50 other awards and recognition in his channel career.
