Cohesity Copilot is our Gen AI-powered operational assistant, which you can find in our user interfaces Cohesity Alta View, Cohesity Helios, and Cohesity RecoveryAgent. It uses retrieval augmented generation (RAG) to enhance response accuracy and generative AI to deliver contextually relevant answers to user prompts and queries.

In Alta View, Cohesity Copilot helps NetBackup users to troubleshoot failed backup jobs, assist with configuring backup jobs, self-service product support, and more easily generate reports. In RecoveryAgent, Cohesity Copilot assists with the creation of recovery groups and blueprints.

The integration of Cohesity Copilot into IT Analytics introduces a conversational approach to data analysis. Instead of navigating menus or constructing filters, users can simply ask questions like, “Show me backup storage trends for last quarter,” “How many inactive VMs are eating up space?” or “Which departments are causing my caffeine consumption to spike?”

In seconds, Cohesity Copilot promptly fetches, organizes, and visualizes the necessary information, transforming complex analysis into an everyday conversation and removing the guesswork from manual queries.
