Why I Joined Cohesity: People and World-Class Leadership

We continue to feather the Cohesity nest with respected industry leaders. This time we welcome Mark Weber –  a former NetApp Public Sector Vice President – as an advisor to our board of directors.

In keeping with our growing team, Mark comes to Cohesity with expertise that helps us address a wide range of customers and their data protection requirements. As a federal technology expert with 30 years of experience, Mark will help us identify customer challenges in the federal IT market.

In Mark’s own words, here’s a snippet summing up why he decided to join Cohesity, and what he plans to do now that he’s on board.

Q. Why did you decide to join Cohesity’s board at this time?

A. What attracted me to Cohesity is the people. The leadership team is world class.

Q. What are you most looking forward to in this role?

A. I am really looking forward to working with the sales teams. Helping the team strategize on different go to market ideas with partners, different pathways to market, and selecting the best sales talent.

Q. How will you help advise Cohesity?

A. The federal market is wide open for Cohesity and the innovation their products offer. Re-inventing a key piece of IT infrastructure is critical for the Federal government to gain much needed efficiency and cost saving. Cohesity does all that is a very heterogeneous environment.

We are adding awesome people to the team at a steady rate, so stay tuned for the next installment of “Why I joined Cohesity“.
